PHOTO: The Coonamble branch of the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) have seen a recent spike in membership and are setting their sights on more community involvement.
A meeting held on Tuesday 15 March at Coonamble Local Aboriginal Lands Council (CLALC) was attended by more than 20 people, including representatives from local schools, Coonamble High School P&C, and youth-focused organisations.
"We did have 11 new members join up [at the first meeting], which was awesome - we're still aiming for more community people and parents," said AECG President . . .
