Following on from the Under 18s and Ladies Leaguetag carnivals the previous week, all Men’s teams in the Castlereagh League competition travelled to Gilgandra for the Men’s pre-season knockout carnival on Saturday 9th of April.
The day started off in warm, sunny conditions but soon turned messy with a downpour of rain that stayed for the second half of the day.
The Coonamble bears seniors team were matched with newcomers to the competition, the Narromine Jets in their first round of the knockout.
