Abigail Nordberg (formerly Abigail Regan) has notched up another achievement in her running career, being the first Australian woman to cross the line in the Gold Coast Marathon last Sunday 5 July.
At 35-years-old Abi came in fourth behind an Ethiopian (aged 22), a Kenyan and a Japanese girl.
A total of 14,565 runners took on the marathon.
Abi's time of 2 hours 30 minutes and 22 seconds also claims her spot as the 19th fastest female Australian marathon runner of all time, an achievement she now aims to . . .
