COONAMBLE locals were celebrated on the big stage last week, with not one but two separate acts with ties to the town excelling at the 50th annual Tamworth Country Music Festival.
On the evening of Tuesday 20 April, Carrington singer songwriter Max Jackson - who some might remember better as former Coonamble resident Makaylie Foodey - was crowned the 2022 Toyota Star Maker.
