THE official opening round of the 2022 Castlereagh League competition saw the Coonamble Bears travel to Baradine to take on the Magpies on Saturday 23rd of April.
With a huge change of the whole draw just a few short weeks out from competition, the round 1 game was scheduled a week earlier than originally planned.
A new look Bears side went into the game without veteran playmaker Sam Turnbull, with Sam still in the coaching role . . .
