WE have been fortunate over the last six weeks to plant a greater area of winter crop then we first thought back in June, with those unsown paddocks due to wet conditions we probably have decided on yes, we will now plant a summer crop or fallow through to early sown winter crops in 2023.
This can be a hard decision as summer crops have traditionally been considered high risk and to fallow means high costs of trying to keep paddocks clean under a high-water available situation so as weeds do not rob us of that . . .
