Friday the 12th of August, we at St Brigid’s celebrated our NAIDOC Day.
Our day of celebrations started off with an Acknowledgement and flag raising, with the Acknowledgement being delivered in Gamilaraay language by Destyni, a year 8 student at Coonamble High School and former student of St Brigid’s.
Dalila, Wyatt, Rilee-Jo and Bailey were all honoured to be asked to raise our flags on our special day.After . . .
