Narromine is looking at a future as an epicentre for industrial activity, with the development of an industrial precinct along the impending Inland Rail about to move towards the planning phases.
The site will be built with 40 hectares to accommodate interested businesses, with plans to expand to up to 100 hectares in its second phase.
Narromine Shire Council Mayor Craig Davies said that despite it only just being in the planning phase, there is plenty of interest for the space six kilometres out of Narromine.
“It’s designed for products that need to be freighted and that need manufacturing out of town…we have no doubt that other organisations and companies are going to want to be a part of it,” he said…
