Locals have banked at least $4580 since Coonamble Shire began their Return and Earn scheme on 24 June.
Over five weeks, Council has collected around 45,800 drink containers between the Coonamble and Quambone waste facilities, reimbursed to residents at 10 cents each.
Donors bring their cans and bottles to the tip to be counted by staff and receive a receipt which they return for cash at the Coonamble Shire Council main . . .
