The dark clouds in the afternoon on Monday 5 August matched the experience on the field for Coonamble Public School (CPS) as the soccer and rugby union sides were knocked out of their NSW Primary Schools Sports Association (NSWPSSA) competitions.
The CPS rugby union boys fought with six players missing in the fourth round knockout for the Bryan Palmer Shield against Tamworth Public School.
