New access to data from the Commonwealth Bank shows tourism spending in the Coonamble Shire is up 38.9 per cent on the pre-COVID figures collected in 2019.
With this valuable new monthly resource generated by analysis of card transactions, Coonamble Shire Council can now track visitor spending habits and demographics.
The data will help with assessing the effectiveness of tourism campaigns and events, monitoring developing trends and planning future activities.
