With construction now complete on three new youth accommodation units in Coonamble Shire, council is turning its attention to finding an organisation to operate the service for young people transitioning out of crisis accommodation.
The project, funded through a partnership between Coonamble Shire Council and the Regional Youth Investment Program, will provide housing for youths aged 18 to 24 as they move toward independent living.
The completed development includes two two-bedroom units on Yarran Street in Coonamble and one three-bedroom unit on Kirban Street in Gulargambone.
