Cobar Shire Council raised over $3200 this month as part of an annual Christmas T-Shirt Day fundraiser.
Staff raised money for the Macquarie Home Stay on 12 December with efforts including a morning tea, 100 clubs and raffle items donated by local businesses.
The Shire has taken part in the fundraiser every year since 2022, when Moree Plains Shire challenged other councils to be see who could be the “Merriest Christmas Council Champion.”…
