Redemption wasn’t to be for our Rams last Friday night up in Walgett, who fell 68 to 10 on a bitterly cold night for football.
The undermanned Coonamble side rocked up to Walgett without any substitutions, leaving all 15 starters to play the entire eighty minutes.
This went about as well as expected, with Walgett boasting a full-strength bench giving them a significant advantage in manpower.
But for periods of the game, you couldn’t tell, with all fifteen in green and white stepping up and matching Walgett.
