Coonamble Shire Council is hoping to put a net over the district’s roaming dog problem, with a blitz set to start in March.
One casual and two full-time rangers have been appointed and are set to start on Monday 9 March.
As well as dealing with illegal dumping and impounding of abandoned vehicles, following up on reports of uncontained dogs will be a big part of their brief.
