Coonamble Shire says they are working to breathe new life into the central business district with financial support to help owners paint their shopfront.
Building owner Michael Leonard said he has used the Main Street Painting Initiative to apply a lick of paint to three above-awning façades.
He said the subsidy accelerated planned work on the café and the old newsagent in Castlereagh Street.
