Around 30 primary and high school boys gave part of their morning on Thursday 26 February to pick up waste for Clean Up Australia Day 2026.
Students filled garbage bags in the morning at two sites - along Dubbo Lane and around the Castlereagh River at 'The Cutting' off Tooloon Street.
Coonamble Clontarf Academy director Adam Cohen said the activty gave the boys a chance to give back to the commuity.
“Working in five teams, the boys covered designated areas throughout the community and successfully collected a total of 15 bags of rubbish,” he . . .
