The state government is beginning a review to dial down feral pig and deer numbers, but farmers and the Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Brendan Moylan, are not impressed.
The review will examine strategies and techniques to control feral pig and deer numbers, and aims to increase landholder’s participation in the program.
The final report is due in October, but Mr Moylan is calling for immediate action.
Biosecurity Commissioner, Dr Katherine Clift, will conduct the feral pig and deer review, by investigating ways to further improve feral pig management in NSW.
