Coonamble district residents are being asked to complete a survey to help organisations identify gaps and priorities when designing and delivering support services for drug and alcohol problems at a grass-root level.
Statistics show Coonamble with an unacceptably high alcohol-related death rate, and the survey is looking for ways to reduce the risk, along with other drug dependence.
The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) Alcohol & Other Drugs Program Manager Olivia Cambridge said each community faces different challenges around drugs and alcohol.
