Walgett & Gular get a big boost for 2026 rugby season

Western Plains Rugby, mounting on a season of big change, is getting noticed with funding to assist with the coming season of women’s rugby.

Already looking to begin tackle to bring more impact into the game, new equipment for Gulgargambone’s side is motivating the team.

Under the NSW Government Sports Grant program $10,530 goes into helping the Gulargambone women’s and men’s side while Walgett will get a new scrum machine…
