The Coonabarabran Times has been in publication since 1928 and just when it looked like the newspaper might not make its 100th birthday, new owners have been found.
After around two years on the market, mother and daughter team Lynne Estens and Kait Britton say they made the hard decision not to re-open after their Christmas edition in 2025.
Now, new hope has emerged and the local community could not be happier.
