Bourke PicnicsThe winner of TAB races at Gilgandra, Dubbo and Coonamble since early winter last year, Always Fiorente was taken to Bourke on Easter Sunday by Dubbo trainer Clint Lundholm to contest the feature event at the annual Picnic meeting.

A noted front runner, Always Fiorente had Narromine jockey Ricky Blewitt in the saddle for the 1600 metres Splash Cola-Rice’s Back O’Bourke Cordials-Harry Hart Memorial Picnic Cup.

Taken straight to the front, Always Fiorente ($4.20) led throughout to win by almost 2 lengths from The Bentley ( Leandro . . .
