Last weekend, Tooraweenah saw a sky-high spike in traffic, although it was not due to vehicles on the roads.
On Friday 17 April 58 gyrocopter pilots and enthusiasts travelled to town for the annual Australian Sports Rotorcraft Association (ASRA) Nationals weekend.
Twenty-one gyrocopters made the trek into Tooraweenah via air, with some travelling from as far as Perth and Port Douglas, for the national event held at the Arthur Butler Aviation Museum.
