It has been a long time since Gulargambone has hosted a distinguished game of rugby league but that will change this Sunday 3 May when the Galahs face off against the Walgett Dragons to decide which will be the first team to hold aloft the 2026 Castlereagh Community Cup.
Their two meetings thus far this season have resulted in a 14 all draw being played out at Walgett whilst the Galahs registered a 40 to 22 win when the two sides met at Gular in the return match.
