Students from the Indigenous Police Recruitment Our Way Delivery Program (IPROWD), delivered by TAFE NSW in Dubbo and Redfern, have just completed a pilot cultural exchange initiative which saw them tour from Dubbo to Bourke, Brewarrina, Walgett, Goodooga, and Lightning Ridge.
Organisers say the goal of the Western NSW Cultural Learning Excursion was “to deepen participants’ understanding of Aboriginal histories, build awareness of community challenges and strengths, enhance connection to Country, culture and identity, and reinforce the origins and impact of the IPROWD program across western NSW”…
