Another illegal tobacco shop has been shut down in Gilgandra, as authorities continue to crack down on the underground trade spreading across the Western Plains.
Gilgandra Shire Council has confirmed it worked alongside NSW Police and NSW Health in a coordinated effort that led to the closure of a premises on Warren Road earlier this week.
The operation, carried out on Monday 20 April 2026, followed ongoing investigations into reports that the site was unlawfully selling tobacco products.
