Work has begun this week on a major expansion of Cants Home Timber and Hardware Coonamble, with completion expected within eight to nine weeks.
The project marks a significant milestone for the long-standing local business, with groundwork commencing on Saturday, 2 May.
Heavy machinery moved onto the 1,000-square-metre site to prepare the area for incoming fill, which will be compacted to create a solid foundation.
