The Tooraweenah Road upgrade has begun with the first stage of construction underway on Monday 4 May.
Coonamble Shire Council staff are undertaking clearing and grubbing, along with removing topsoil to prepare the site for upcoming drainage structure works and road construction.
Project Manager and Council Director of Infrastructure Services Kerrie Murphy said this initial work is expected to take a couple of weeks “depending on weather and site conditions.”
