The Australian wool market recorded a slight overall rise this week, pausing after the sharp upward trajectory of recent series.
A total of 37,744 bales were offered, up 4,078 on the previous sale.
Stronger prices drew previously held wool to market, pushing season to date offerings above forecast.
So far, 1,298,119 bales have been auctioned, 52,512 bales (3.9 per cent) fewer than last season.
