The local sports ground was buzzing with energy on Friday 1 May, with the Coonamble Cup bringing in over 200 kids for the annual rugby union sevens competition.
Primary students from Gulargambone, Walgett, Tooraweenah, Quambone, Wellington, Coonamble Public School and St Brigids all came together for the footy carnival.
Western Plains Rugby development Officer Mark Pitts said it was a “great day” for the kids.
