Fresh from the academy, Zali Fulton kick-started her career in the police force in her hometown Coonamble on 6 May.
The 22 year old graduated from the 16-week police training program on May 1 in Melbourne and wasted no time job searching.
Three days later she was dressed in the boots and vest alongside the Coonamble police crew, ready for her first day as constable.
The role made for a full-circle moment for Zali.
