Coonamble’s State Emergency Service (SES) held an Open Day on Saturday 23 May, coinciding with an exciting announcement from the local Chief Inspector John Lewis.
The open day allowed locals to drop in, and check out what is hiding inside the shed, and find out what the SES can do for the region.Mr Lewis said the event “went really well.”
Although the Open Day ran concurrent with the local rugby union Ladies Day which affected attendance, Mr Lewis said he was still happy with the turnout.
