With over four decades of dedication going into his poultry breeding hobby, Gilgandra's Ian Young, was wrapped to pick up another top trophy, Champion Bird of the Show, at the 2026 Coonamble Show held on Wednesday 26 and Tuesday 27 May.
He's a true veteran of breeding Champion Old English Game birds and has collected several prizes including a major win in at the Sydney Royal Show in 2021 where he took home the "Champion Old English Game" in his first year of competing there.
