Conversations about conservation were in the air at a workshop that focused on protecting the region’s unique Glossy Black Cockatoo.
Landholders, bird enthusiasts and conservation advocates gathered in Mendooran for a collaborative information session aimed at promoting bird conservation, habitat protection and sustainable land management across the region.
The information morning called ‘Beaks, Bristles and the Glossy Count’, held on Wednesday, 22 April, was hosted by Central West Local Land Services (LLS) and BirdLife Australia.
