Wet weather may have forced a change of venue, but it didn’t dampen interest in regenerative farming when around 30 local property owners gathered at the Coonamble Bowling Club on Thursday 28 May to hear about a major soil carbon project underway near Coonamble.
Local agronomist and grazier Tom Cullen, who operates the Whittonbri property, is working with Atlas Carbon and Delta Agribusiness to restore soil health while exploring new income streams through carbon sequestration.
A planned field day on Mr Cullen’s property was shifted to the Coonamble Bowling Club due to rain . . .
