Weilwan ceramic artist Rainy King was head-hunted for a commission job in Barangaroo’s new exquisite Cutaway cultural venue, and she said she is “honoured.”
Last September the Cutaway team scoped out Rainy’s artwork at the annual inaugural native food festival, where she was showing off some of her handmade pieces.
Nine months later, she has dropped off the first shipment of the platters and dishes for the highly regarded cultural centre.
