A proposal to redirect almost $800,000 from other planned council projects to the Coonamble Artesian Bore Baths project has been defeated at Coonamble Shire Council.
Councillor Paul Wheelhouse brought forward a Notice of Motion seeking support to defer several capital works projects and redirect the funding towards Stage 1 of the Bore Baths development.
The proposal would have delayed the Council Depot Security Fence Renewal and Fuel Bowser Relocation projects scheduled for 2025–26, as well as the planned construction and bitumen sealing of the rear car park servicing the Coonamble Swimming Pool and . . .
