Coonamble’s art trail comes to life as muralist begins landmark artwork

Coonamble regional art trail's muralist has landed in town, and the painter wasted no time getting started on the Smith Park toilet block artwork.

He picked up his brush and spray paint cans and got to work on Friday 26 June.

The commissioned Melbourne-based artist Lukas Kasper said he was eager to incorporate the Coonamble spirit through the painting.

"The whole idea was to tell a story of the land, but also have the local stories and perspectives in there," he said

"You'll see the stories float around . . .
