On 1 July, Coonamble Public School celebrated NAIDOC Day alongside Coonamble High School, St Brigid’s School, and Quambone Public School.
At around 9:30 am, some of the school and house captains welcomed guests at the front office, offering free tea and coffee.
If visitors were unsure where to go, two students showed them to the basketball court, where the concert was held.
A highlight of the day was the performance by Mitch Tambo and his wife, Lele, who sang several songs in language.
