Heavy rainfall has caused two more local events to be postponed which were set to run last weekend, 4 and 5 July.
Repeated rain over the past few weeks pushed both the 50-year anniversary of the annual Quambone Polocrosse Carnival and a big Coonamble Team Penning competition to reschedule.
Quambone Polocrosse committee member Margret Garnsey said the committee decided to cancel, last Thursday 25 June, as it would be unsafe for the players and horses to compete on a wet field.
