Don’t let them die waiting… become an organ donor

Western Plains residents are being encouraged to take just one minute to register as organ and tissue donors in this DonateLife Week, with health authorities warning registrations are falling despite growing demand for life-saving transplants.

Western NSW Local Health District is supporting DonateLife Week, which runs until Sunday 2 August, and urging people across the region to register their decision and discuss it with their families.

The local health district said while most Australians support organ and tissue donation, only about one in three have officially registered their wishes…
