After the renovation of our green there was still some excess sand coming to the surface after it was watered.
After a period of time playing on the green the sand still would not settle.
It was then decided to remove the excess sand and therefore it made the green draw and play much better.
Tuesday BowlsLast Tuesday 28th July the bowlers played 12 ends with the wind blowing a strong southwesterly and the green running around 17 seconds.
