Locally-based non-government organisations and service clubs were invited to attend a Disaster Recovery information session last Tuesday afternoon 11 August with the NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA), the lead agency helping communities be better prepared for and recover faster from disasters.
Nine people attended, including representatives from Coonamble Shire Council, Coonamble Neighbourhood Centre, Meals On Wheels, Rural Financial Counselling, Mission Australia, Green villa, Red Cross and Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service.
