• Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service staff are settling into their temporary clinic at 27 Tooloon Street, as they await upgrades to commence on their old building.

Coonamble’s Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) has temporarily relocated from their previous clinic location of 17 Tooloon Street to make way for development upgrades.

Nine staff from CAHS have moved over to their building located at 27 Tooloon Street, previously occupied by Ochre Health, last week.

The crew opened the doors to patients on Thursday 28 May, and practice manager Ruth Luppino said the staff are welcoming the new environment.

“The old building, where we came from, is very old and needs a little TLC [time, love and care],” she said.
