The Coonamble Bears wrapped up their 2026 season at home on Saturday 1 August with a thrilling 34-32 victory over the Gulgong Terriers in one of the most entertaining games of the year.
The Bears couldn't have asked for a better start, with Jarron Welsh crossing for a sensational try just 22 seconds after kick-off.
Gulgong responded almost immediately to level the scores, but from that point on the Bears took control, producing some exciting attacking football to build a handy 30-10 lead.
