A huge day of sports unfolded at the Coonamble Sports Ground on Saturday 20th June, with the Coonamble Bears Senior League hosting Coonabarabran across all three grades for their Indigenous round.
Wearing Indigenous designed footy shorts created by Leaguetag player Mickayla Kelly and matching Indigenous grip footy socks, the Ladies Leaguetag side opened the afternoon following the Junior League fixtures.
Coonabarabran struck early, the Unicorns crossing for the first two tries to jump ahead 8-0.
