The Coonamble Bears Senior League and Ladies Leaguetag teams travelled to Narromine on Sunday, 24th May to take on the Narromine Jets in their round 5 clash.
The Coonamble Ladies faced a tough challenge from the outset, taking the field with only one reserve on the bench.
Coonamble’s defence held strong early, successfully shutting down Narromines attacking sets near the Bears line.
However, the pressure eventually told, with the Jets crossing for the opening try.
Narromine went on to score three more tries before half-time, taking a commanding 22 . . .
