The Coonamble Shire Mayor and General Manager met with the Minister for Water, Rose Jackson, Thursday 7 May regarding funding for a hot topic in Coonamble.
Mayor Dan Keady said the discussion with the Minister was central to local water issues.
The meeting discussed “securing funding for critical water needs for the next couple years,” Mr Keady said.
After this year’s issues around faulty bores pushing Coonamble under a water crisis, the mayor said the funding is necessary so another crisis is not on the horizon.
