Three weeks of no bowls seemed a longtime for bowlers to be unable to play.
This was due to the synthetic green being totally renovated.
The carpet was rolled up and more sand was rolled down and laser levelled.
The carpet was rolled back down by a large amount of volunteer helpers and the ditch grass was put in place.
With the completion of the green this week the bowlers are back playing on Tuesdays and Sundays for the time being.
