Brewarrina Central School has strengthened support for student wellbeing through offering the Youth Aware of Mental Health program (known as YAM), a school-based initiative designed to help young people better understand and manage mental health challenges.
YAM is an international mental health program that invites students to learn about and discuss issues that can affect their everyday lives. The program, supported by the Department of Education, targets students aged 13 to 17.
